Who is Vivian?
“Manic, Pixie, Not Your Dream Girl”
I am just your ordinary girl next door, and as cringey as dubbing oneself that may be, I don’t particularly view it as being boastful. I mean, I am, after all, just an ordinary girl next door, often wandering stuck in her day dreams.
I started this blog as a way to share content without the constrictions of social media. I just want somewhere I can post freely without the stimulation, pressure, distractions, and other toxic traits that encompass the likes of Instagram.
On a regular day, I work full-time in global marketing, but my real passion lies in creating aesthetic or entertaining content, whether that be through modeling in artsy photos or filming a cooking video for healthy chocolate chip pancakes.
I love Pomeranians. I’ve had 4. Shuai Shuai (was my aunt’s, but I loved him), Mei Mei (my first baby), and now mimi & momo.

FAQ's
When did you start blogging?
Oh, since I can remember! I was one of those tumblr girls, and apparently everyone who was a serious tumblr girl all work in marketing now, at least that’s what a viral video on TikTok said.
Anyways, before tumblr, I had a Xanga blog (RIP Xanga), which I still dearly miss, but I didn’t back up my blog, so when Xanga crashed, so did my blog. Xanga was how I really got into blogging, web design, web development and taught myself HTML and Photoshop.
My main reason for blogging is so that I can present my content in a way that I like. I get tired of the squares and noise on Instagram, and I like how freeing blogs are.
So I’ve been blogging since I was 10 years old, when I had my first Xanga blog. And then throughout HS and college, I used wordpress and tumblr. Also in college, I had a quite popular blog that was featured on Huff Post, BuzzFeed, and more. Finally, I am not starting fresh with this professional blog.

What is your full time job?
Ex-corporate girl, currently funemployed (again). Want to focus on creating my dream career for the rest of my 20s.
Who takes your photos?
Usually my mom! Or a tripod (aka myself). Sometimes I work with photographers. Hoping one day I can rely on an Instagram Boyfriend to take my photos, haha.
What camera(s) do you use? Sony Alpha 6400, 50mm & 85mm lens

Where did you go to college, and what did you study?
I went to Princeton University, where I got my Bachelor’s degree and studied International Relations.
Princeton doesn’t have a Business major, so I’d probably majored in Business instead, but I do find IR very interesting. I actually got in as an Engineer, with the intention of studying Financial Engineering but very quickly realized that I was not meant to work on Wall Street.

How tall are you?
I am 5’4″.
I have a shorter torso and longer legs, and that’s why I look way taller in photos.
I’ve been scouted to be a model through Instagram a few times, but as soon as I tell them my height, they’re like, “oops never mind!”
Typically for clothes, I’m wearing size S.
